Plays written and directed by Dyanne Asimow

Rocksong

A punk rock performance artist turns his life into art. Or does he? Sell-out or sensation, it will be televised, even if he doesn't live to see it.

Day Of The Dead

On Dia de los Muertos, a savvy shopkeeper tricks an old candlemaker who previously immigrated to Los Angeles with his wife, into believing the ancient gods will give him eternal life if he makes the perfect candle.

This rips the marriage asunder. It takes the wiles of that shopkeeper, the masks of the gods, the songs of the Mariachi, and the fierce heart of the old woman to make things right once more.

Les Attitudes

Les Attitudes, a play in three scenes, is set in 1955 -- an optimistic time; a time of consensus; a time to forget the past.

But some things cannot be forgotten.
